Aims of the Course

PEUGIC (cancer after a normal gastroscopy) is worryingly common.

Reasons are likely to relate to

• Lack of Endoscopist knowledge about how to perform high quality gastroscopy
• Lack of Endoscopist knowledge of the appearance of precursor lesions
• Systemic inability to provide enough sedation to perform high quality gastroscopy in all patients
• Lack of a comprehensive screening test for upper GI cancers

In this webinar we aim to address these issues particularly the performance of high quality gastroscopy and detection of precursors via training their endosvopic imaging features.
