Why this webinar
The two-day Train the Endoscopy Trainers course is built around live cases with structured video-augmented debriefs. To make the most of those two days — whether you are a faculty member, a registered trainee, or simply attending virtually — we open with a 90-minute training-theory webinar one week before.
This session is open to anyone with an interest in endoscopy training. You do not need to be enrolled in the live course to attend.
What you will leave with
- A working vocabulary for endoscopy training: conscious competence, cognitive load, taking over the scope.
- A clear framework for how trainers feed back to trainees, and how faculty critique trainers — the JAG / Anderson loop, augmented with video.
- The single most important skill we teach during the live days: how to use continuous video recording as a teaching tool. Equipment is simple. Method is everything.
- Light homework you can apply on your next training list, before Day 1 even starts.
